Christchurch, New Zealand – 21 January 2026. Inde today confirms the obtainment of the ISO 27001 certification, the internationally recognised standard for information security management. The certification was formally awarded to Inde on 12 January 2026, following an independent audit of Inde’s information security management system (ISMS).
“Achieving ISO 27001 required more than implementing tools or policies; it drove open and transparent conversations across the organisation about security, ownership, and accountability. Leveraging Drata helped us centralise evidence and automate control monitoring. I am particularly excited about what this means for our Managed Services going forward, as it strengthens consistency, governance, and provides our customers with greater confidence as we continue to scale and support increasingly complex environments.”
- Emily Steele, Service Delivery Manager, Inde
ISO 27001 sets out the requirements for defining, implementing, operating and continually improving an information security management system. It takes a structured, risk‑based approach to information security, requiring organisations to identify potential risks and apply appropriate controls across people, processes and technology. The standard is widely recognised as the global benchmark for information security management.
For Inde, the certification supports compliance with evolving legal, regulatory and contractual requirements related to information security and privacy, while also reducing the likelihood and impact of security incidents. By formalising security processes and responsibilities, ISO 27001 helps ensure consistency as the business scales and continues to support complex enterprise environments.
Inde will maintain its ISO 27001 certification through ongoing investment in its security practices, regular internal audits, and continuous improvement of its ISMS. The certification is subject to annual surveillance audits, ensuring that information security controls remain effective, current and aligned with emerging risks and customer expectations.
"Security has always been an integral part of Inde's operation, and it's great to see this reflected through attaining ISO 27001."
- Chris Campbell, Enterprise Security Director, Inde
ISO 27001 certification further reinforces Inde’s focus on delivering secure, cloud‑first solutions for enterprise organisations, providing an additional layer of confidence for customers entrusting Inde with critical systems and data.
ISO 27001 is the leading international standard for information security management. Developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), it defines best‑practice requirements for establishing, implementing and continually improving an information security management system. The standard is recognised worldwide and applies to organisations of all sizes and industries.
