Scholarships

Overview

It's no secret that most technical roles in our industry are filled by men, and it honestly makes sense when you see, as we have, that hardly any women are applying for these positions. We also know and have seen that women are equally capable of excelling in technical environments. So how do we hire more women and achieve a better gender balance when there simply aren't as many women in the industry?

We've decided that we don't want to wait for the shortage of women in the industry to fix itself. That's why we've partnered with one of our clients, the Ara Institute of Canterbury, to offer scholarships for promising female students studying ICT at Ara. Our hope is that by making education for these fields more accessible to women, the gender gap in the tech industry will start to close.

If you're a student, check out our scholarship details and recipients below. If your organisation is also interested in encouraging more women into tech, get in touch with our team to see if there is anything we can work on together.
