To support an exciting new phase of growth for Inde’s Data Intelligence and Architecture team, we're looking for Senior Data Engineers in Auckland to work alongside a team of technical specialists and transform some of New Zealand’s largest enterprises through innovative solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Lead implementation of advanced data platforms for enterprise clients

  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Design and build data pipelines for ETL and ELT processes using Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory, Informatica, and other technologies

  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to clients

  • Mentor junior team members and support a culture of excellence

  • Innovate in metadata-driven frameworks and data ingestion

What You'll Bring

  • Significant experience in data engineering or senior BI development

  • Extensive experience designing and implementing advanced solutions using Microsoft Synapse and Data Factory

  • Proficient in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis

  • Proven ability to take ambiguous requirements, develop a plan, and deliver complete solutions

  • Strong in data modelling, ETL, and data warehousing

  • Proficient in Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for deployment and testing

  • Experience in metadata-driven frameworks and advanced data ingestion techniques

  • Microsoft certifications (DP-203, DP-600, DP-700) valued

  • Informatica ETL development experience, particularly in data ingestion scenarios

  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Google Cloud) beneficial
