Inde bolsters growing Enterprise Networking team with Graeme Wilkinson appointment

Wellington, New Zealand – 30 September, 2026. Inde Technology today announces the appointment of Graeme Wilkinson as Technical Director Enterprise Networking. Based in Wellington, Graeme brings a career built on networking and critical infrastructure, most recently spending 16 years at global observability company Dynatrace, where he led a team of solution engineers.

Graeme's career began in New Zealand's electricity sector, at the organisation now known as Transpower, where he trained in voice and data networking, radio communications and secure telecommunications for grid telemetry. He has since worked across vendors, managed service providers and integrators, and has often been the go-to person for utility and infrastructure clients because he speaks their language.

Deep networking roots, broad perspective

During his first five years at Dynatrace, the company's approach to observability was grounded in hands-on networking: capturing and decoding packets at the core of customers' data centres. That experience, combined with a later understanding of cloud, SaaS and operational technology, gives Graeme a rare breadth of view.

"I've described myself for a long time as a general practitioner rather than a specialist. I've worked across many industries, sectors and technologies, and I really appreciate how interconnected they all are. Banks rely on power companies and telcos, and those telcos depend on the electricity supply to keep running. I believe we're heading towards a real fusion of IT and operational technology, and I feel well placed to help our customers through that."

Graeme also holds postgraduate qualifications in business management and a master's degree in human communications, and has shaped his strategy work into a PHD. He says the models and frameworks from that study, shape how he approaches his work every day and he looks forward to bringing that strategic lens to his work at Inde.

Leading and supporting a high-performing team

In his new role, Graeme will lead Inde's team of networking engineers, combining technical credibility with a strong focus on leadership and pastoral care.

"I've always been a people person, whether it's customers, colleagues or the people in my team. I've led teams before, including internationally, and I really missed it. The chance to lead and support a group of highly skilled engineers is what drew me to this role."

Strengthening Inde's networking capability

Royden Burt, General Manager Solutions at Inde, said Graeme's appointment strengthens Inde's senior leadership in one of its core practice areas.

“Recent significant project wins have driven demand for growth in our networking team. Graeme brings a combination of deep networking expertise and a genuine understanding of how our clients’ businesses, and the infrastructure they depend on, fit together. His experience gives him a real appreciation for the outcomes our clients need to achieve. Just as importantly, he puts people first, and he’ll play a key role in supporting and growing our networking team as we continue to deliver for New Zealand organisations.”
