Chris shared one example of a successful migration project involving an enterprise client facing a common challenge: ageing on-premises SQL servers approaching end-of-life. The client wanted to reduce Azure SQL spend, maintain existing Power BI visualisations, and adopt a data platform that integrated seamlessly with their Microsoft technology stack without needing to build complex new integrations or restructure security groups.
