THE MODERN WORKSPACE PROBLEM
Enterprises now support a mix of SaaS tools, browser-based applications, internally developed systems, vendor packaged software, and legacy platforms, all hosted across different locations and accessed in different ways. AI tools like GPT and Gemini add another layer, with critical applications now accessed entirely through the browser. The challenge is no longer just access. It is delivering secure, consistent application delivery across a complex ecosystem without creating friction for users or overwhelming internal IT teams.
WHAT WE DO
Our Workspace team focuses on one core outcome. Ensuring users can securely access the applications and data they need, wherever and however those applications are delivered.
We design, manage and monitor workspace environments across physical devices, virtual platforms, web and SaaS applications, and secure access layers. This includes application delivery, endpoint management, identity driven security, and service level monitoring, all aligned to how your organisation actually operates. As your application landscape evolves, we help you adapt your workspace strategy over time, reducing complexity while maintaining performance, security, and user experience.

I have been at Inde for as long as Inde has existsed, starting in the Networking team (for Data Culture which in turn became Inde) before seeing the light and moving to the Workspace team. Subsequently there probably isnt an Inde customer or product that I havent touched in one way or another. Often under estimated, always under utilised and definitely under paid, I am a true team player who is mostly in it for himself. I have a basic knowledge of everything Citrix, and use Google and Co-Pilot help me with everything else. My main fault is that I am too serious. Favorite TV Show: Breaking Bad. Favorite Movie: Two Lane Blacktop. Favorite Band: Baby Metal. How to contact me? Dont call me, I will call you.

Callum Davidson is a Workspace Specialist who keeps the wheels turning behind the scenes, making remote working solutions smooth, end‑user computing painless, and infrastructure monitoring far less dramatic than it wants to be. He’s the go‑to person who turns “something’s broken” into “all sorted” with minimal fuss and only a reasonable amount of caffeine. Known for being approachable, unflappable, and weirdly calm during digital chaos, Callum brings a people‑first mindset to every challenge. As a father of three — including twin girls — he’s already fluent in multitasking, crisis management, and navigating unpredictable carnage. Compared to that, IT issues are practically a holiday. He keeps work running smoothly, so you only have to pretend it’s Monday once.

FAQS
What is a modern workspace?
A modern workspace is how users securely access applications, data, and collaboration tools across devices and locations. It brings together application delivery, endpoint management, identity, and security to support hybrid and remote work.
Do you support both physical and virtual desktops?
Yes. We support both physical devices and virtual desktop platforms. Virtual desktops are one way to deliver applications, but not always the default. We help organisations choose the right mix based on user needs, security requirements, and operational outcomes.
How do you deliver applications to users?
Applications can be delivered in several ways. This includes packaging and installing applications on managed devices, publishing applications through virtual platforms, and providing secure browser based access to web and SaaS applications. We design the right delivery model for each application rather than forcing a single approach.
How do you balance security and user experience?
Security is built into how applications are delivered and accessed. By using identity driven controls, device posture, and secure access methods, we reduce risk without creating unnecessary friction for users.
Can you help transition away from legacy workspace models?
Yes. We regularly help organisations move away from legacy domain based management and heavily virtualised environments toward modern device management, cloud based application delivery, and Zero Trust aligned access models.
Do you provide ongoing support?
Yes. We support workspace environments beyond deployment, including application delivery, endpoint management, and monitoring. This allows us to optimise performance, availability, and security as your application landscape evolves.
What’s the best place to start?
Start with a conversation. We assess how applications are currently delivered, where complexity exists, and what changes will have the biggest impact for users and IT.
