With over a decade in IT, Royden joined Inde way back in 2018, and brought with him a deep understanding of value-added licensing and procurement, and now heads up those specialist teams at Inde as General Manager Client Product. Royden previously was with a leading distributor, becoming their expert for both Azure and Microsoft 365 in the process. In that role, Royden brought Microsoft CSP to the market for that business, becoming New Zealand’s most successful CSP distributor. As impressive as Royden’s IT credentials are, what stands taller is that he has represented New Zealand at the highest level with the NZ Maori Men’s Hockey Team and the NZ Under 16s. Until recently, Royden still competed in the Auckland Intercity Premier club competition, the highest club division in the country. However, while originally hailing from the North (Palmerston North, though we don't hold that against him), the lure of the mainland and all the outdoor activities has drawn Royden to Canterbury where he works in our head office in Christchurch. In his spare time, Royden can be found hitting the slopes, driving the high country in a 4wd or waterskiing when the weather is a bit nicer.

Ralf is driven by his favourite saying “the power of the collective” and is focussed on building and leading our managed services business. Driven by our company strategy to become a full end-to-end IT partner for our customers, Ralf continues to innovate and lead with dedication. Ralf has over 25 years of experience in IT in New Zealand and his native Netherlands. With a working history including outdoor education and high school PE teaching, Ralf brings passion and enthusiasm to everything he does. Finding his calling in IT, Ralf directs that passion into being an expert, unlocking the talent around him with the aim to drive great customer outcomes. Outside of work, Ralf enjoys exploring New Zealand with his family, playing the drums, savouring wine, and passionately follows football.

With over two decades of dedicated experience in the field of Information Technology, Chris (Burko to all but the most distant of relatives) is a seasoned professional who has made significant contributions across diverse regions, including New Zealand, Australia, and the United Kingdom. His expertise lies in successfully navigating the complexities of large-scale cloud migrations, spearheading integration projects, and seamlessly executing identity provider migrations. His specialised focus on large-scale cloud migrations showcases his ability to harness cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to drive organisational efficiency and competitiveness. His hands-on experience in overseeing integration projects has resulted in streamlined operations and enhanced collaboration within organisations. Outside of work, he finds joy in a variety of activities, including perfecting the art of BBQing, indulging in the occasional bout of amateur guitar playing and ensuring his kids' bikes are always in top-notch condition. A nature lover at heart, Burko digs the refreshing vibes of ocean dips and wraps it all up with a well-deserved beer to unwind.

Donovan brings the same level of patience and determination to delivering cloud solutions as he does to restoring cars. He has over 17 years of experience working in cloud environments with Microsoft technology in large enterprises, Government agencies and IT service environments. He is well-practised when it comes to planning, designing and implementing multi-tier COTS and bespoke software in on-premises, private cloud and public cloud environments. This experience includes working in traditional waterfall, agile and DevOps aligned teams. As both a leader and member of technical project teams, he has contributed to the design and execution of migrating systems to the Public cloud. Outside of work Donovan can be found in the garage disassembling and reassembling his “simple” car restoration project, watching a movie or gaming.

As Technical Director of Data Intelligence and Architecture at Inde, Chris Beckett brings a decade of specialised experience in retail technology ecosystems spanning ecommerce, national infrastructure, and logistics. Chris has established himself as an authority in Data Platforms, Data Strategy, and Integration solutions, with particular expertise in implementing Microsoft Fabric across international environments. Chris is a Microsoft Certified Data Engineer who has successfully led complex data transformations, including the consolidation of three international brands into a unified data platform operating across six continents. His practical approach to technology implementation focuses on measurable business outcomes, having implemented predictive analytics solutions for workforce management that demonstrably reduced overstaffing while improving on-time delivery performance.

After relocating to Christchurch from the UK in 2010 with his wife and two children, Steve has established himself in the IT industry and is pleased to consider New Zealand his home. Steve began his career as a software developer and has accumulated over 35 years of experience working for end-user and supplier organizations in the insurance, energy, and finance sectors, acquiring a diverse set of skills in project, program, and portfolio management along the way. In 2022, Steve joined the Inde team with the aim of supporting the various teams and ensuring that the company delivers excellent outcomes for its customers every time. He focuses on Delivery Management, which encompasses all aspects of the business, from Small Work Delivery to Project and Program Management, Portfolio Management, and Consultancy. Steve is dedicated to Inde's customers and ensures that all parties are content with their results. Currently, Steve is in the process of building a team of Delivery Management experts who collaborate closely with the technical teams and Inde's customers to provide exceptional service. While Steve's children are beginning to leave the nest and spread their wings, he remains family oriented. Fortunately, his black Labrador, Hobbes, has stepped up to fill his cup, with Steve and his wife frequently spending their weekends walking on the beach and repeatedly tossing balls into the ocean for Hobbes to retrieve. When time allows, Steve enjoys cycling on the roads of the Port Hills, always making sure to stop for a cup of coffee.

Mark is an accomplished IT professional with over a decade of experience in the reseller and distribution space. Based in Wellington, Mark’s passion lies in delivering exceptional customer service and leading an outstanding team of procurement and licensing specialists who deliver great outcomes for our clients. Approaching challenges with curiosity and an inquisitive mindset, Mark seeks to truly understand issues so he can proactively work on solutions. He thrives on connecting people and his extensive channel and supplier relationships continually add value to those he engages with. Most importantly, Mark will pick up the phone when you call, and prides himself on following things through to resolution. Mark has a unique blend of industry knowledge, leadership skills, a passion for cyber security and a penchant for pizza making.

Jason is a Technical Director – Network, with deep expertise in architecting, designing, and delivering next-generation network and security infrastructure. He works across telecommunications, enterprise, corporate, and government sectors, helping organisations modernise and future-proof their connectivity.

Used to driving through any obstacle in his 4x4, Mike helps Inde clients get the best solutions in place, no matter what. Mike has 20 years in the industry across manufacturing, finance and utility sectors across New Zealand and Australia. He previously held a senior role at 2degrees looking after the Network Operations Team and then the Managed Services team. Having joined Inde in late 2019, Mike is focussed on growing the managed services offerings and services to our customers and showing the value that Inde can bring. “I want our customers to think of us as part of their team and trust us to keep them going. I want to build a highly capable team of engineers that have strong relationships with our customers.” Outside of Inde Mike is all about his young family and exploring New Zealand with them in their 4x4. If not out in the truck, Mike is a keen mountain bike rider and can be found in and around the many trails of Canterbury, and sometimes further afield across the South Island.

Kendrick has over 20 years of experience in IT both in New Zealand and in the United Kingdom architecting and delivering virtual workspaces to a host of organisations and thousands of users. Kendrick has a passion for and enjoys the complex challenges faced by businesses in today’s digital world to mobilize and improve productivity for the workforce of the future. During his career, Kendrick has designed and implemented Application & Desktop delivery (EUC) solutions and provided specialist managed service support, operational support and consultancy services for small businesses to large enterprises. Outside of work, Kendrick enjoys getting out and exploring his backyard, New Zealand. His favourite outdoor activities include walking, hiking, weekend getaways, kayak fishing, and generally being on the ocean or along the coastline.

Blair, a Dunedin native, began his tech journey at Otago University, mastering computer science, info science, and telecommunications. With over 15 years of experience, his swift ascent from the service desk to a senior engineering role in Wellington marked the early phase of his career. He spent the next seven years in London, where he navigated diverse IT contracting roles, specialising in Citrix and Windows technologies. Passionate about solving complex challenges in the digital landscape, Blair enjoys helping to mobilise and enhance productivity for the future workforce. His expertise encompasses architecting virtual workspaces, designing Application & Desktop delivery (EUC) solutions, and providing support services for businesses of all sizes. Now based in Dunedin with two children and a border collie, Blair brings a dynamic touch to his role at Inde. In his pre-parenting days, he was an enthusiastic snowboarder, hiker, cyclist, and mountain biker. Today, his adventures unfold in both the digital and family realms.

Chris was that notoriously disobedient kid who sat at the back of the class and always seemed bored, but somehow still managed to ace all of his exams. Obsessed with the finer details and mechanics of everything in both the physical and digital realms, Chris serves as the Security Architect within the Inde Security Team. His ventures into computer security began at an early age and haven't slowed down since. After a decade spent across security and operations, and evenings spent diving into the depths of malware and operating systems, he brings a wealth of knowledge to Inde along with a uniquely adversary focused approach to defence. When not behind a screen, Chris likes to unwind by hitting the bike trails or pretending to be a BBQ pitmaster, and is a co-organiser of the local Information Security Interest Group.

Mark has 20+ years’ experience in the ICT industry across a broad range of technical, business development, and channel roles. With over 10 years at Microsoft in customer and partner-facing roles he has a deep understanding of the power and potential of technology to accelerate business outcomes for organisations, their employees, and customers. Having run and owned businesses inside and outside of the ICT industry Mark brings not only a deep understanding of technology solutions but significant real-world business experience and acumen to help customers. Outside of the office, you will find Mark seeking out the newest craft beer brewery or his favourite driving road.

Cam brings a wealth of knowledge to his Regional Director role at Inde, with a goal of supporting customers to achieve exceptional outcomes. With over 15 years of experience and a background in procurement, Cam uses his valuable expertise to help customers achieve the best value, including identifying areas for improvement to help optimise and streamline business processes. whilst supporting them on their growth journeys. His background has included significant roles in industries such as health, travel, and finance. Outside of the office, Cam is enjoying his return to New Zealand, spending quality time exploring the country with his family. He is also actively involved in football and likes to unwind on the weekends playing golf.

Unashamedly one-eyed, Greg is proud to be the Canterbury Regional Director at Inde. After returning from his OE in London, he found himself not only 20kg heavier, but also at the start of a technical testing career that lasted for the thick end of a decade – predominantly in finance, software development and managed network spaces. During the latter stages of this career phase Greg realised that he was far more motivated by seeing successful outcomes from his projects than he was by the ‘doing’ of the technology itself. It was then that he moved to the client focused, general management roles in which he has remained since. Greg loves the high trust culture that is fostered at Inde - ‘we only hire the best, and then get out of their way to let them deliver’. Being a fairly straight forward sort, the simplicity of Inde’s ‘Don’t take the piss’ rule resonates strongly with him and is one he often measures himself and the team against. While he is never going to don the red and black, Greg loves nothing more than the odd game of pretty much anything – and more so the beer and the yarns that are told afterwards. His fascination with the NBA has never translated to skills on the court, and he can often be found being schooled by his two sons at a local gym.

Sam is a seasoned professional with a rich history in the IT industry, dating back to the era of dual floppy disk drives. His extensive experience has equipped him with a unique perspective and an uncanny ability to anticipate challenges and navigate through them. At Inde, Sam leverages his wealth of experience to provide strategic insights and guidance. He excels in foreseeing potential issues and proactively works towards drafting agreements that safeguard the interests of all parties involved. In addition to his strategic role, Sam also contributes to maintaining a positive and productive work environment. He takes pride in ensuring the smooth operation of everyday office tasks, including keeping the coffee machine well-stocked for the team. Outside of his professional life, Sam is an avid outdoors enthusiast. He enjoys running, hiking, and fishing. Despite his unassuming appearance, he embodies a spirit of adventure and a love for the great outdoors. His hobbies not only reflect his active lifestyle but also his appreciation for nature and the simple joys of life.

Once you get past the Scottish accent, you’ll find a rather passionate and fun loving individual with a background as a Business Development Manager, Client Relationship Manager, and Country Manager for a number of top New Zealand software and professional services companies. Tony has built a reputation for providing customers a pathway to success over the last 20 years since moving to Aotearoa. Based in Auckland, Tony’s current role sees him engage with IT leaders primarily across Australia and New Zealand identifying partnerships and developing relationships for the engagement of the Inde Technology team. With extensive experience in building customer success teams, Tony takes ownership of the customer journey at Inde striving to ensure customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional outcomes with his team. Apart from a couple of teenage sons keeping Tony busy, he is also spearheading the sale and delivery of projects and services in New Zealand, developing new markets in Europe and America as well as championing Inde's Australian presence. Outside of work, Tony enjoys sailing, supporting his beloved Partick Thistle and new found love of Auckland FC.

With qualifications in psychology and education, and a special interest in neurodiversity, Rachael brings 15 years of HR experience to her role, specializing in organizational psychology and learning and development. She is passionate about helping individuals unlock their full potential and takes a strength-based approach to bring out the best in people, creating a positive impact on both the employees and the company. Beyond her role at Inde, Rachael spends time with her husband and two boys, listening to their imaginative musings about life and dinosaurs. As Marketing Director at Inde Technology, Lisa leads the full marketing lifecycle, owning the ongoing evolution of Inde’s brand presence and performance across New Zealand and Australia. Lisa’s background spans agency and in‑house roles across industries such as SaaS, manufacturing, agriculture, utilities, healthcare and FMCG. Before joining Inde, she held senior roles at HubSpot Elite Partner agency Concentrate, where she led digital strategy, content development and multi-channel campaigns for high-growth B2B companies. While her role is largely non‑customer facing, Lisa plays a central role in shaping Inde’s customer‑facing presence. She leads the strategy and execution of Inde’s events, campaigns and digital content, defining how the brand shows up in market and how customers experience Inde.
