To support an exciting new phase of growth, we're looking for a Data ArchitectinAuckland or Christchurch towork alongside a team of technical specialists and transform some of New Zealand’s largest enterprises through innovative solutions. 

What You'll Do

  • Lead the implementation of advanced data platforms for diverse enterprise clients 
  • Translate complex business requirements into elegant technical solutions 
  • Design and build robust data pipelines and ETL processes using Microsoft Synapse, Data Factory, and related technologies 
  • Engage directly with clients, communicating technical concepts clearly and building strong relationships 
  • Mentor team members and contribute to our culture of technical excellence 
  • Drive innovation in metadata-driven frameworks and data ingestion methodologies 

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or in a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
  • Cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Designing and developing scalable data architectures to support AI, ML, and analytics initiatives.
  • Collaborating with key customer stakeholders to understand data needs and drive the engagement to deliver effective solutions.
  • Implementing best practices for data management, governance, and lifecycle management.
  • Designing and presenting solutions and scopes of work to customers.
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment is highly desirable.
