Skills and Experience

Above everything, we’re looking for Humble, Hungry, and Smart team players with a passion for technology and a sound knowledge of trends within the IT industry.

Our favourite technology is whatever works best for the client at the time, but it is likely you will have certifications and experience in some of the following: 

• Routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) 
• Switching (Juniper, Aruba, Cisco Enterprise Campus and Data Centre)
• Firewalling (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet) 
• SD-WAN (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Citrix)
• SASE/SSE (Netskope, Cloudflare, Prisma)
• Wireless (Juniper Mist, Aruba and Fortinet, cloud-based wireless management platforms) Automation (Cloud management platforms, scripting and execution environments, consuming REST APIs) 
• Access control platforms (Aruba ClearPass, Cisco ISE)

Skills and knowledge of Linux (configuration, applications, device management, KVM and scripting) is also highly desirable for working with some of our key clients.

Our current focus is to build the cloud networking capability of the team so previous experience of Azure and AWS or a demonstrable desire to learn these environments is beneficial. 

Your capability will also include: 

• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build & maintain lasting relationships with clients. Previous experience in a professional services environment is highly desirable
• The ability to communicate complex topics in audience-appropriate detail and terminology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivation and an ability to prioritise tasks
